Title of Project: A Hydro Aquaponics

Category: Plant and Agricultural Science

Summary: A hydro aquaponics with a green house effect ,it includes the growing of crops in a soilless condition with the use of algae from the fish,they are some certain conditions being required for our plants to grow,temperatures are controlled via mobile phone , in terms of security they is a fire sensor , motion sensor , smoke sensor , movement sensor and a siren to alert if they is something recognized by the sensors. In the ponds where our fish live they is a water heater, pH sensor , water leveler sensor ,water hardness sensor in the water. They is also an electroliser so as to break water into its molecules which are hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen is then later given into the greenhouse where we grew our plants and the oxygen molecules are then given into the water pond for the fish to use in assistance to the air pump which pumps in oxygen. Aside they is the keeping of worms as the feed for our fish in addition we can also use pallets

Summary: The black box is a important piece of equipment in an airplane this is because it records all information on the plane.before it crashed and this information is important so that computer lb experts can recreate the events before the plane crashed thus being able to inform people and also take precaution for the future planes but the main task after a plane crash at hand is to firstly is locate the aviation recorder/ black box which is quite a difficult and long process which can take months and some times the black box might not even be found. My solution to this problem is to redesign the black box purpose other than just record data when the plane crashes it will be able to automatically sent to the head quarters an thus reducing the amount of time and resources used in locating the back box .the method that I shall use is to first create a system which shall include GPS navigation and sensors this system will beto give the black box two functions. Concluding that the aviation recorder shall be more efficient.

Summary: Where I come from electricity is hardly available. We have had load shedding for nearly the whole year now. As a student I find it difficult to study using candles and worse of all I am a candidate now, so I wouldn't want to fail. So as a solution I decided to light a bulb using an apple. My aim with this project is to generate electricity using low cost available materials. For my project I am going to need a galvanized screw, a piece of copper wire, wire and an apple. Apples generate electricity because they have acids in their juice which can be converted to energy and used as power to small items, which is why I chose a light bulb. The cells in apples are filled with flavored juices composed of water, sugar, acids and aromantic esters(compound made of one acid and an alcohol molecule). So the acids in an apple interacts with electrodes(the galvanised screws) to create a small amount of voltage hence generating electricity to the light bulb. I chose an apple because it is cheap and available

Summary: The cases of burglary in the worsening economic situation are drastically increasing. This project aims to create an anti burglar system that you leave on when you're leaving your home for a long time. It uses LDR to switch on at night, then it uses an arduino micro-processor with code uploaded so that is randomly switches on lights and appliances for random durations within the normal human ranges in different rooms at night such that it seems as if there is someone in the house when there is no one to help reduce burglaries. it also has a flame sensor installed.

Summary: The researcher decided to design an efficient energy source reliant on biological catalysts for the continuous generation of power.Power outages are quite a problem in Zimbabwe, Africa and the world over. Crucial industrial processes and simple activities such as studying are all hindered by this lack of sufficient power.The researcher first carried out an experiment to investigate the effect of enzymes on voltage. A series of enzymes were made and tested to find the one that resulted in the highest voltage. Each enzyme was made into a bead and tested on an electric current carrying fluid. The fluid was heated to obtain the optimum temperature at which the enzymes worked best. Graphs were sketched to interpret and analyse the activity of each enzyme in the current carrying fluid.The voltage obtained from the control experiment was compared to that of the highest voltage producing,enzyme solution. The highest voltage producing enzyme was finally selected and used to make a battery.

Summary: Due to increase in temperature food deterioration has increased. Pathogens can result in intoxications or a variety of infections.Due to various power cuts in Zimbabwe it is difficult to preserve food by freezing .Also Freezing food leads to texture and flavour loss. Methods like food dehydration cause nutrient and flavour loss. Background: Bacteria cell walls contain a layer of peptidoglycan which can be broken down by lysozome which results in bacterial death. Aim: To preserve food using enzymes.

Summary: My project is a Visual Studio 2013 software program aimed at helping students of every age to study at school,at work during a free period,at home or even when traveling. The system is user friendly so as to adjust for every size from grade 5 up to no age limit. It allows the user to take down notes and save them. The user can study the notes later if he/she wishes to. Data is saved in the program and it has no data limit so the user can save data from the beginning of the year or course up to the end.

Summary: Have you ever wondered how one can see DNA with a naked eye. DNA is contained in all living organisms and is a set of instructions that tell a cell how to rebuild a protein .This project is for demonstrating that macromolecules can be extracted using simple protocols with everyday chemicals and to highlight that the single living thing has DNA.DNA extracted from the cells looks like strands of mucus.It is relatively easy to extract DNA and l decided to extract it from strawberries because they are available any time of the season, they are easy to smash just imagine smashing a pineapple and l have found that it's easy to get DNA out of a strawberry.T

Summary: The need for electricity has always been and will remain a worldwide basic need. However peanuts have also proven to be a source of this basic need, as they are able to conduct electricity, as a result of an electrolyte property which is potassium. The use of peanuts to generate electricity will prove to be very useful to the world as peanuts are easy to grow, readily available, renewable and cheap. It is unfortunate that many countries especially African countries Zimbabwe, Burundi, Tanzania and South Sudan just to mention a few, are suffering from electricity shortage. Hence my project is aiming at solving this problem. As for those countries that have enough supply of electricity it's aim will be to produce cheaper and renewable electricity in an easier way.

It intergrates all the three dimensions of sustainable development which are economic, social and environment thought using solar energy and LP gas. During emergency Miradious save people through automatic opening purashut bag . Miradious uses solar system as a source of energy and LP gas . It adapt scientific discovery for useful purpose through using solar system to fly from on position to another . My project is is a solution to meet society's need especially in transportation and climate change It utilze force of natural for society purpose. Miradious is coming up with solution to technical problem for instance air crashing .it is fast and efficient. It moves along the road like ather transport

Summary: In this experiment,l investigate the variations in the amount of potassium contained by different banana types at different maturity levels as well.After obtaining my results,l then focus on a deficiency disease known as hypokalemia-Lack of potassium in the blood stream.lts symptoms include weakness,fatigue,muscle cramps-during exercise paralysis and later respiratory failure may also occur and Arrythma-abnormal heart rhythms also serve as a symptom.Since drugs,medicines and supplements of the sort required to balance the amounts or maintain the correct levels of the mineral are now almost impossible to purchase because of their high price,my main objective then would be to propose a substitute for them with simple food stuffs such as the banans of course.If one tablet contains 50mg of K+ and one banana contains the same amount....the patient could then easily substitute the supplement with the food item.

Summary: Solar makes up 1% of the energy we us. Furthermore, in Africa, most countries have an abundant amount of sunshine daily but cannot afford to run with solar and still get an adequate amount of electricity for optimum consumption without fossil fuels. So I want to take two readily available resources in Zimbabwe (sunshine and sand) as there are currently power shortages and use to optimize the amount to energy we receive from the sun.

They end up not doing what they wish to do because they do not have any way to reach the gadgets Possible solution connect cellphones to the gadgets that are far away and use the phone that we have to control those things which are far away.

Title of Project: Thermomagnetic Generator

Summary: Due to shortage of electricity and fuel in my community l have come up with an idea of inventing a gadget known as thermo-magnetic generator (non fuel user generator). This generator uses properties of magnetism(like poles repel) and also pressure system to rotate the turbines of the alternator that produces electricity. Pressure tanks with water inside are heated using gas. It is user friendly as it does not produce smoke. The number of turns per second of the alternator will determine the amount of electricity produced. For higher voltage, we can use all the systems( thermal and magnetism) but for lower voltage we can use one of the systems.

Summary: This project is centred on the hypothesis that a combined system of electrocoagulation and plasma technology can make wastewater and contaminated water safe enough to be reused. The objective is to replace conventional water treatment methods with more efficient, chemical free and inexpensive water purification methods that are more environmentally friendly. 2.2 billion people people lack access to safely managed drinking water service (WHO/UNICEF 2019). As a result, about a quarter of the world's population dies subjected to waterborne diseases annually. To minimise this loss, this project focuses on the electrocoagulation of different types of contaminated water using a miniature electrocoagulation system made from aluminium wire and a DC battery. The project also dwells on water plasma generation using a kitchen microwave to demonstrate the results of the suggested methods. The mentioned procedure proved to produce water with a nearly neutral pH and little to no contaminant content, thus, it can be concluded that the use of electrocoagulation and plasma technology as a combined water treatment system can make contaminated wastewater safe enough to be reused.

Summary: The world is facing a big problem of energy. there is a shortage of energy in many countries including in Zimbabwe.almost every day there are electricity power cuts so people cannot do some things which need electricity Prediction a permanent solution can be found to use solar energy to light up a whole town using one large light source in the sky Aim to make a model of a town and a large solar light source that lights up the whole town at night so that the town never has night.

Summary: Due to shortage of fuel in our community and the nation as a whole, we have come up with a new renewable green fuel. We have peeled off the green lemon zest and squeezed it to produce a liquid known as MILDEM. It is etracted from the fruit of the genus citrus. The zest residues are then removed and the fluid left is D-limonene. We have selected to extract a substance limonene (can be called d-limonene which is the most common than L-limonene). D-limonene means dextrorotary limonene meaning that the isomer rotates plane polarized light clockwise. Since d-limonene is flamable in its liquid state, it explodes at 48°C. Its boiling point is 176°C. It is a chiral molecule and when oxidised d-limonene explodes if distilled. The fuel falls under terpenes and its chemical formula is C10H16 which means it belongs to alkenes group. D-limonene is a colourless liquid. It is an alphatic hydrocarbon classified as a cyclic monoterpenes. It is the major component in the oil of citrus fruit peels

Our device is eco friendly and simple to use. we have created a device that can charge electrical devices just by connecting it to your bicycle's wheels or your exercising bike.

Summary: Onion contains acid that is put in contact with two different metals to produce electricity. There are so many countries struggling to find energy to do their work so we have come up with this simple source of electricity. As a prototype we will just make electricity from a little amount of onion acid but to make higher amounts we will need to make that acid. We researched and found that in South Africa there are power cuts because of their source of electricity. This source is not affected by the weather. This is a clean and efficient source.

Summary: This is a new model which does all the events needed by farmers to have a good yield. It will have all its components automated.It first plant the seed by itself and then it sprays water for about three times a day. When the plant is about 40cm tall it will sprays pesticides and other chemicals that will help the plant grow well. It will be used in farms where maize, tobacco, beans, e.t.c. It will be used in so many departments of agriculture. It also senses the moisture of the soil the it sprays according to the current moisture

Summary: The aim of the project is to design a smart waste bin prototype capable of detecting, inform and warn people about the level of waste in the bin. It will also automatically follow a black line that will lead to a bigger bin. the problem to be solved is uncollected bins leading to pollution and disease. The prototype was made using an automatic circuit with LDR to sense darkness when bin is full.

Title of Project: Mint Leaves Antibiotic

Summary: The aim of my project was to make cheap antibiotic from mint leaves. These leaves have been used to cure coughing and colds. The antibiotic was be prepared by extracting the plant sap. The sap will be placed in agar jelly inoculated with a bacterium swab. This was be incubated at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. It was found that it had little antibiotic effects. There is need for further research on effect on a specific bacteria.

Summary: The project aim was to provide a homemade, automated, economical and convenient system for watering crops throughout the country especially in drought prone regions simultaneously practicing water conservation. The system was made from recycled materials - used domestic plastics, working electric motors from toys and left-over plumbing materials. It is powered by solar energy or batteries. Electricity could be used for larger pump motors.

Summary: Zim is currently facing energy inadequacy and unaffordability where fuel prices are hiking on a daily basis and power cuts are frequent with electricity being supplied only at night.The aim of this project is to make a cow dung battery. This project uses cow dung, tamarind, water, salt, old batteries and aluminum cans. The mixture of cow dung, tamarind, salt and water is acidic due to organic acids contained in acid and also tamarind being an acid.A carbon rod is extracted from the battery and inserted into the mixture. As the mixture is acidic it contains H+ ions which therefore take electrons from the carbon rod. This decreases the electron density of the rod and it becomes positive.NaCl dissolve in water to produce Na+ions and Cl- ions. Al3+ ions in the can move into the solution and react with chloride ions to produce aluminum chloride. Therefore the electron density of the can increases and it becomes negative. The connecting of wires on the positive carbon rod and negative ion rod allows flow of electrons and electric current is produced. This project will help in the production of cheap, clean energy from waste. It will promote ecofriendliness due to the removal of cow dung which can contaminate water sources. The project uses affordable materials and allows sustainable use of nonbiodegradable waste such as cans and used up batteries. Cow dung battery will ensure improvement in electricity accessibility in our community.

Summary: Due to the economic challenges Zimbabwe can no longer afford to import and export vaulables to and from overseas using air Zimbabwe is land locked hence does not access to sea tranpotation but its neighbours do not have the same limitation. My project is aimed at creating an electronic boat using cheaper and more locally available materials to lessen the costs of exporting and importing goods as it is one of the sources of foreign currency to Zimbabwe.

Summary: With the continuous use of fossil fuels which is resulting in the depletion of the ozone layer, negative climatic changes such as harsh temperatures and outbreaks of diseases. This climatic change, has resulted in the extinction and migration of rare animal species, exponentially deteriorating the tourism sector in all nations. Take for example, Zimbabwe, the country has been facing a major shift in climatic patterns resulting in devastating weather hazards such as floods, droughts etc. Instead of using nonrenewable sources of fuel, that have negative impact on the environment we can use piezoelectric energy. It's when a material is applied mechanical force and is allowed to produce energy where we come down to piezoelectricity. The energy can be therefore stored by a motor vehicle and can be used for purposes intended hence, the invention will be supporting conservation of energy. The emission of hazardous gases coming from petroleum vehicles of today into the atmosphere has increased over time from the first motor vehicle. This is resulting in the melting of the polar regions which may lead to the extinction of the poor miserable polar bear and arctic fox and other animals. The sea level worldwide is also rising making it possible for very powerful storms and weather hazards. But if man decides to make a change to this which will help the future generations and present by the use of piezoelectric motor vehicles making our world a better place.

Summary: In Africa ,agricultural products are sold on black markets where farmers rent stalls there to sell their produce. At these stalls farmers encounter a lot of problems like their produce getting destroyed by rain and fire and by this farmers lose a lot of money from this. These stalls are not well organised and diseases and pest might affect their produce. Also farmers these days cannot acquire loans or machines easily due to lack of platforms or being to far away from access points. Weather and educational information is also a big problem since most farmers do not have access to televisions or electricity. By this my project is on website called 'Southern Agric' I made ,where farmers can sell their produce easily from product bids and save their produce from getting destroyed by rain or other weather factors. They can also buy machinery from companies or also sell their old equipment. Weather information can also be acquired from the website and as well learn how to do their farming. This will help prevent loss of produce and organise a link between farmers and customers or retailers. Farmers will also get to learn and get weather which will better their farming methods or plan in advance. The loans are easy to acquire hence all farmers will have access remotely. Most of a farmers business will be able to be done on this website.

Summary: Persistent chemicals are often being dumped into rivers ,lakes and dams etc.l,lol give a case study of lake chivero.Harare,s water supply and sewer system comes and goes there.this brings the first problem it causes.I am very sure that many people wash dishes with different soaps and a majority of their houses are connected to the country,s council water.Another problem I have come across with chemicals used in households is that these chemicals can also cause rapid plant growth .This is eutrophication.This causes aquatic flora to grow rapidly and aquatic life to suffocate and die.The population of aquatic life deteriorates more.The last problem l found with this is as I mentioned above a majority of households in the Harare province use the city council water.The city council water is at obtain from lake chivero .This water may poison the people who drink it because of all chemicals found in it.My colleague ,Ropa , and I have created a detergent that only uses natural resources and degrade just once used .It is eco friendly and has no harm that would be brought up to the environment.

Summary: After researching the problems mostly faced by farmers, I came up with an idea of tickling some of the problems. This is a website that gives information to farmers. The information found is: Available markets, Advertisements, e-commerce, weather, news and so many things that make farmers feel motivated. The farmers visit the website and research for the available areas to sell their products, to advertise their products, to see the weather updates from the nearest metro logical stations, news of what is happening in their environment.

Summary: The aim of my project was to make a herbal cure for tonsillitis. this will help cure tonsillitis in developing countries because it is cheap.the herbal cure is made from ginger, cayenne paper and a salt plant. these were crushed and mixed together in warm water. the filtrate can then be taken orally. it proved to reduce the disease.

Summary: Firstly the name of my project is called, a SOLAR IRRIGATION WATER PUMP. It is an environmental friendly solar irrigation system focused on enhancing the farming aspects in Zimbabwe and hopefully around the globe. With some parts of Zimbabwe experiencing water shortages, this was an eye opener for me to create this project. As we know it is almost impossible to irrigate a large scale farm using water that doesn't have pressure. With my water pump, sprinklers can function properly and effectively. So basically my project was made out of quite a number of components, including a few household components. Components include a zinc sheet, 24v dc motor, horse pipe, plastic container, solar panel, copper wires and wood. My solar water pump draws water from a water source, using the force produced by the motor and then the water comes out through the horse pipe with great pressure. If this project is widely spread throughout the world, we can change the world effectively..

Summary: After researching problems faced by most undeveloped countries, we came up with a certain problem which is about electricity problems. Zimbabwe and other countries are facing such a huge problem and as a solution we decided to make electricity from salt.It has just only a few stages to follow.When you put salt in water, the water molecules pull the sodium and chlorine ions apart so they are floating freely. These ions are what carry electricity through water.This will end so many problems.

It is capable of covering large piece of land for exploration.

Summary: Power cuts are very common and they are disrupting the reading process of many students at their homes. Salt light is a solution to this problem. The salt light uses magnets,salt and water. Water is diamagnetic and its repels other magnetic fields. Salt weakens water's magnetic field but it increases the electrical conductivity of water. Salt (sodium chloride) dissolves in water to form ions which increase water's conductivity. A magnet in salt water creates a moving magnetic field and this opposes the one created by the salt water, this creates a turbulence which facilitates the movement of ions which move electricity.

Summary: In the verge of creating an eco-friendly system which utilises clean energy (river flow) and advances the current technology by combining both the hydro technology with the solar technology I made the HYDROVER AUTOMATED SOLAR SYSTEM. This is in simple terms a combination of an automated hydroelectric system and an automated solar system. It works by utilising the basic phenomenon in geography that when water is flowing it finds the easiest possible way and in so creating meanders, on the outer part of meanders the velocity of the river increases by 50-60%.

Wind may not be a good alternative energy source because of unpredictability in wind supply on certain days. Electricity as an option is also unreliable because of its scarcity. Water supply is untenable because of the high risk of drought. Therefore, making solar powered trains is the best option which will inevitably reduce the rate of air pollution in Zimbabwe. How this project can help Zimbabwe and the World at large.

Proteins and enzymes in the venom could be a source of biologically active compounds. Humans could possibly gain resistance from correct doses of venom. Lastly studies in the early 1900s showed rats with tumours injected with snake venoms showed less symptoms than ones that were not,therefore showing a possible cancer cure.

However, after relentless studies and research in ambient energy sources, findings of the study revealed other alternative sources of energy using 5 atmospheric interactions from 5 fundamental phenomena namely: Waves (Radio waves), Cosmic rays, Photoelectric effect, Thermoelectric effect and Field interactions between Magnetic and Electric fluxes. These create electricity by processes that do not increase the planet's carbon footprint.The electricity can be generated at any moment in time without the need for a fuel for its production. Moreover; these discoveries, and many others altogether, led him to invent and successfully gave birth to the invention and building of a prototype resembling a generator which he has called the Point Zero Inert Alternator. This name and invention was inspired by Doctor Nikola Tesla's findings in ambient energy as well as dreams that the inventor of the PZIA had at the middle of the year 2019. The project consist of simple bucket welded with a doom shape where the gas collects and an outlet will be connected to the gas stove. The cylinder container has an inlet where the substrate will be fed to the digester plant which is in this case the cylinder container. There is an outlet pipe where fertilizer drained out to be used in the garden or field. We are in this Era of global warming and climate change and people must be mobilized to use green energy which does not deplete our environment not. Here are some merits of using biogas' 1. It is eco friendly' 2' biogas produces organic fertiliser. 3. IT is a simple and low cost technology that encourages a circular economy.

Summary: This is an autonomous robot model which works in mines A notable number of human lives have been lost due to the the disimtergraton of underground mines at great depths due to pressure imbalance hence the the invention of The Riley Rover. The Riley Rover Robot aids in excavation and also acts as a transportation device as it can carry huge amounts of ore out of the mine . It is fitted with sensors which allow it to detect mineral deposits in ore and a robot arm which helps it extract the ore underground. The robot also has a forklift which enables it to extract samples no matter the complexity of the geographical location of the ore . The Riley Rover can be also be controlled manually to maximsie excavation efficiency . The robot has various other sensors which help it with mobility like the ulta sonic sensor which senses mainly distances from objects to help the robot avoid bumping into objects and humans. The Infrared sensor allows it to detect the minerals.

The loops: 1.create a field that makes the train hover about 5 inches above the railway 2.keep the train stable horizontally The main principle that keeps the train hovering is that magnetic resistance pushes it upwards when the train gets closer to the railway since the train will be having magnets at the bottom with like poles of the magnets on the train and the railway will be facing each other causing a repulsion.

Thereby extracting convectional currency from the earth’s surface in order to convert it to electricity . Just like the geothermal but instead of using to energy to heat water then use the vapour to generate turbines, my generation is going to use what I would like to call current panels that will extract convection currents from the earth’s crust then convert the current to electricity .

School going children read for long hours using candle light and end up sleeping during lessons the next day. People in communities such as Hatcliffe township line up at electricity powered boreholes at late ours like 10pm and 11pm. We can solve this huge national crisis with a simple and efficient project.'"The waste-to Energy' Project. Rubbish is very useful even though the majority of people take it for granted. We can remove the recyclable trash and use the remaining non recyclable trash. The trash must be sent to waste-to-energy plants where it is introduced to hot furnaces.The trash is burnt and in turn produces a lot of steam which then turn the turbines that generate electricity. It is practically killing two birds with one. It is a very cheap and reasonable way of producing electricity.The electricity distribution in our communities and Zimbabwe improves and the amount of rubbish that is likely to end up in dump sites decreases. This project is most likely to improve the livelihoods of Zimbabweans rather than to bring them back to their normal standards.

A solar tracking system is a specific device that is intended to move the photovoltaic modules in such a way that they continuously face the sun with aim of maximizing the radiation received by the photovoltaic array. The solar tracking system can be grouped into two being singles and double axis ,my project being on the dual axis tracker .The advantage of the dual axis is that it follows the sun at any angle possible so as to make the sun`s rays perpendicular to the solar panels which increases our yield. According to statistics sun tracking systems increases our energy output by approximately 30% which is a game changer for us all. About my project it differs from other sun tracking systems in that it doesn’t use the internet and GPS systems for tracking the sun which I think makes it cheaper and better in that it can be installed even in very remote area of the globe.

This is mostly done in rural areas. This damages the battery which leads to warranty disruption of normal radio (the radio not living up to its life span which is given by the manufacturer) • Appearance It is a small square shaped pocket radio which comes with a stand. The stand is 15 cm length wise 5 cm width wise. This stand is only for use when charging the radio. The battery life can approximately last for 12 hours or more depending on how long you charge it. The solar stand three buttons the green one which shows that it’s charging, the red one which shows that the battery has power and the blue one which shows that the radio is fully charged.

Summary: The Thermo-Electric Power plant utilises magnetic flux from infrared radiation transmitted from the violent eruption which occurs when hydrogen react with oxygen in the combustion chamber. The very hot gaseous water is forced into the vacuum tank with a large surface area and black tinted walls for efficiency measures. As the heat radiation is excited spontaneously, magnetic flux of the radiation are also ejected haphazardly in the tank and suddenly coils are plunged into the magnetic field saturated tank rapidly thereby inducing an electromotive force on the coil.

Summary: Water is a precious and vital resource. Water demand has increased in Zimbabwe over the past years, and access to clean water has become increasingly difficult. Purifying hard water can be a solution, to the increasing demand in water. Hard water contains calcium, magnesium and other metal irons. Hard water is softened by reverse osmosis and distillation. Reverse osmosis requires resins that are expensive. Distillation can be used by using a simple solar distiller . The Distiller is eco-friendly and cheap.

Summary: Power cuts have become a common feature in almost all Zimbabwean households; ranging from 8-12 hours a day of complete darkness. In Zimbabwe, 670 W of electricity found on the national grid is hydroelectric power from Kariba Hydroelectric Dam. The rainy season may bring temporary relief to this electric crisis but what will happen 2 months later when Kariba dam levels and other hydroelectric sources start to run dry? Hydroelectric power has been known to be a renewable source of energy capable of powering nations and continents but we aim to minimize hydroelectricity production to a point where you are able to use waste water from your home to produce electricity that can power your house without having to depend on the national supply. Waste water, meaning water flowing out of your home drainage system can be collected and the waste matter separated from the water using a set industrial filters and biological agents such as enzymes to break some of the elements down such as proteins all within your home. After purification, the water is collected and then released from a tank at a steep decline in order to turn turbines which are connected to generators which convert the mechanical energy into electric energy. The electricity is then collected a d distributed to different components of the household. The water may be used for 2 cycles before connecting to pipes which lead the water to items such as showers in the home to be reused. At 200 liters a second, approximately 31.4 kW can be produced if run for 5 hours. Waste products will cause no harm to the ecosystem as they can be converted into less harmful compounds which are decompose-able.

The sources of energy we use to produce electricity are very an pollute the earth causing global warming which result in droughts, cyclones, hurricanes, floods leading to soil erosion causing desertification of land.Coal it also produces green house gases such as black carbon,carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide so l came up with a project which is environmentally and economically sustainable. We can now produce electricity from cow dung by mixing it with rain water,tap water,lemon and sewage which is clean way of producing electricity. The cow produced more volts when mixed with rain water, lemon and sewage. This shows that we can produce electricity from cow dung. In the future l want it to be used at a large scale.

Algae are of little value to a pond or lake. Algae can produce electricity as most of the sunlight energy absorbed by the chlorophyll is not used. Only 20% is converted into chemical energy. Making electricity from algae can be used to get rid of this problem as well as the electricity crisis Zimbabwe is currently facing.

I also put a shop so that farmers can buy their farming implements online and just go and collect or can be delivered to your location, one can buy farming implements for example for a relative whilst they are outside the country and pay using paypal and when in side the country they pay using local services e.g zipit or ecocash.

Summary: The solanum lycopersicum plant is a specie that originates from South America but is found in many different countries around the world.This plant is the one that produces the famous red berry that we know as a tomato.The plant produces a special property known as lycopene which we find in both the plant and the tomato.This property when oxidised releases electrons which enable us to obtain electricity, solving a lot of problems related to electricity access and food wastages from rotten tomatoes that are discarded without utilising the special properties they have.Farmers who suffer huge loses because of rotten tomatoes can now turn that loss into another profit from farming tomatoes as they can now use their rotten tomatoes to get cheap electricity which can be used in various ways.

Summary: Since the dawn of combustion the ozone layer has been suffering from the wrath of carbon monoxide. Mankind has been put to grief due to the effect of the gas. Ultraviolet rays are currently terrorizing our bodies, as for instance skin cancers which have taken the lives of out beloved. Despite uvray effects to humans, plants are also suffering severely from these rays therefore causing plant deaths and extinction since it also supports climatic variability. All these harsh conditions have turned to be due to carbon monoxide. Owing to the "substance conversion theory" the writer has found a way to chemically reduce the substance. A which we can slow down the rate of depletion, increasing the world's electrical supply and also a new environmentally acceptable fuel. But before we can create a useful fuel for various reasons, we have to make a chemical (mutic acid) which can reduce carbon monoxide, trap and compress the reduced CO gas and finally mixing with other substances. Straight off the researchers desk he found out that a large number of workers in industries are dying from respiratory diseases so if we don't act now we might regret this opportunity. But if we take a leap today with this project the world is determined to be a better place tomorrow than it is today

Summary: Many people struggle with pulling luggage suitcases on wheels. The wheels make it easier to pull the suitcases but they may still be too heavy and this is a problem that we thought of solving. We decided that the use of a motor can help move the suitcase forward . All you have to do is press a switch and the current flows from the battery to the motor. The Motor then drives the wheels of the suitcase forward. The motor does the pushing. The battery can be recharged anywhere where there is electricity. The motorised suitcase makes it easier for anyone to carry heavy loads when travelling.The battery can be recharged using solar panels so this idea is sustainable.

Summary: My project is based on generating electricity from soil. Reason being is that rainwater is able to conduct electricity and a common application is in Kariba with the use of hydro electric power. Soil contains free electrons but it also contains ions which are called Gazillions of ions which Makes it suitable to conduct electricity. Minerals from the soil when diluted in water become ions therefore they are charge carriers.

Depending on the level of hydration and ions concentration, soil can be poorly conductive or very well conductive. Only acidic soil can conduct which means the soil can either be pure acidic or have acidity added.

Summary: SMART FARMING is a research on the effect of white light and infrared light to bean seedling growth rate. Background Problem and Information: Do bean plants grow faster in infrared light or in white light? Do fast geminating beans help farmers improve drought affected areas by providing quick food? Hypothesis: If a bean plant is added with carbon dioxide and water in the presence of infrared light it is able to carry out photosynthesis and hence produce food. Aim of doing the project is to be able to grow bean plants faster by controlling the type of light that they use for photosynthesis to take place 2. To provide fast germination of crops in times of natural disasters , so as to ease food shortages. The procedures are divided into two sections. The first procedure is the growth of beans in white light and in infrared light for 2 weeks. Taking measurements of the bean plant is the last procedure.

The engineering goal behind the plant is to provide a significant tool in the battle against climate change. The Procedure involves the use of aqueous sodium hydroxide as the absorbent for gaseous carbon dioxide in a pressure vessel. The atmospheric carbon dioxide enters the system by use of a suction fan. Aqueous sodium carbonate and water are the products of the reaction, which enter into different tanks.

This way of irrigation saves water and also labour. It also support poor people because there will be no need to have a lot of money to but the materials .

I thought of this project when I realized that the plastics produced currently are polluting the environment by releasing harmful toxins . This type of plastic was made with the use of a cassava plant.The plastic was made with the leaves of the cassava plant .The leaves were crushed and put in a pot then they were mixed with the original plastic to make the biodegradable plastic . The plastic can also be made at home . The problems I faced were lack of the equipment to produce the plastic.

Summary: Studies have shown a large population of people in Zimbabwe are unaware of the existance of Myelogenous leukaemia which is becoming an increasing burden in developing countries My project is mainly on raising awareness to this dreadful disease. Questionnaires were issued out to the public in order to asses their knowledge. Awareness campaigns were held in different local schools. I also interviewed medical doctors in order to acquire more knowledge on the disease. Throughout my research l discovered that the larger part of Zimbabwe is not aware of Myelogenous leukaemia thereby concluding that holding more awareness campaigns is one more way to lessen the burden of the disease.

Summary: Normally eyes see slightly different pictures around the world but the brain analyzes these pictures into vision. The human brain is the central organ of the human nervous system while the eyes detect light and convey it into electrochemical impulses in neurons to provide animals with vision and the ability to receive and process visual detail. Humans have 2 eyes but despite that fact we only see 1image. This is thanks to our brains working hard to make sense of the input coming through both eyes. My project is aimed at investigating how the brain reacts when the eyes receive conflicting information. I took 11 sheets of white paper and rolled them length wise into a tube 30cm long and about 1,25cm in diameter. I then used tape to keep from unrolling. I took the tube in the right hand and held it up to the right eye such that the eye could only look through the tube tube. I placed the left hand with fingers pointing up and the palm facing the eyes against the left side of the tube, about half way down. I repeated the process switching hands and eyes.

This Electro-Transpoter will solve all these problems but our limitations is lack of material. This is a machine that travels on rope-like poles and on the arms it uses are generators that will produce the power for it to move on a long journey. The passenger will only have to put a coin in a space provided and press the destination. This machine will take them wherever they want to go.
