The International Rules for Pre-university Science Research: Guidelines for Science and Engineering Fairs are published annually to support students doing independent research safely. The Rules are the official rules of the Zimbabwe Science Fair.

The Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) is the world's biggest pre-university science competition. The Zimbabwean delegation to the ISEF in Arizona, USA brought home special and grand awards amounting to US$7 000 ( the Oracle Academy Award, the Arizona Public Service Company Award, 3rd and 4th Place Awards in Physical Sciences Category) Congratulations to our young scientists!
In September 2019 our young scientist , Anesu Mapiro, represented Zimbabwe in the Teenager Maker Camp in Guangxi, China. She scooped the Best Maker Award. Congratulations Anesu!
Other young scientists represented the country in Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and South Africa, where they scooped awards and medals. Congratulations our young scientists!
